I already have twitter so I just went ahead and added that to my page. I joined linkedin and diigo. For some reason I couldn't get either of them to show up on my page, though. On Google reader I found some sites with great free technology. I also subscribed to 3 pages that have articles on education. The best thing I learned about today was the education section online at the HBLL. But again, it also didn't work when I tried to add it. I did add one amazing website to our Diigo page.
Very cool how you added your Twitter feed to your blog. Fun!
ReplyDeleteYour resources seem fine (although sad to hear they didn't work the way you wanted them to). I just need to see a screenshot of the blogs you found so I can tell you got them into your Google reader correctly, and then post the ones you found here on your blog for your group members (and me) to see so we can check them out too.
To take a screen capture:
on a Mac, hold down shift + apple key + 4. It makes a cross hairs, which you drag over the part of your screen you want to capture. Let go, and the picture shows up on your desktop for you to email to me. On a PC, it's a little more tricky because PC machines aren't always the same and some do things differently than others. But for most PCs, do this:
1. Press the "Print Screen" button. (Next to the NumLk [Number Lock])
2. Paste the picture into Word or Paint and save it.
Also remember you need to find 4 blogs, so if you've only got three, see if you can add one more. It looks like you have some good ones.
